Part-time Cleaner

Job Overview:

Successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning shop and offices and meeting rooms (sweeping, vacuuming, taking out garbage and recycling, mopping manually and using floor scrubber), and other duties as assigned.
Individual must be able to do physical work, standing for the 6 hour shift, and must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Must have a reliable attendance record, and be a responsible team player.  Able to stay motivated and have good attention to detail.
Able to follow both written and oral instructions. Able to work alone with minimal supervision.

Experience Requirement:

  • Work related experience in housekeeping and/or office cleaning. An industrial setting is preferred, but not mandatory.

Other Details
  • One paid 30-minute break per shift.
  • Work Schedule: Part-time (approx. 18 hours /week) Monday 9 am to 10 am start for 6 hours, Wednesdays 12 noon to 6 pm, Friday 9 am or 10 am start for 6 hours; we are flexible to a 9 am or 10 am start Mon & Fri.

Press Specialist

Job Overview:

We are looking to hire a press specialist to join our team.  This position focuses on the operation of mechanical and hydraulic presses. The successful candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn our unique process.  Repetitive lifting, precision measuring, and standing for long periods of time are required. 

 Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Ability to operate multiple presses and possibly loading product onto a sintering furnace simultaneously
  • Accurately measure and chart the key features as spelled out in the Process Router
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices and understand/follow safety procedures and company policies

Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in a precision manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience using machinery; preference given to those with shop experience, or manufacturing environment, set up experience or equivalent mechanical experience
